Ribbon braking resistors RLT are designed to operate as load resistors of traction motors in the electric braking mode of a locomotive.
An RLT-type resistor consists of resistive elements, two holders and insulators, tightened by studs into a single structure.
They are used on locomotives 2ES6, 2ES10, EP2K and diesel locomotives TEP70, TEM18, TEM18DM, TEM2, TEP70A, ChME3, 2TE116.
Climatic version: UHL1 according to GOST 15150-69.
The RLT ribbon braking resistors comply with the requirements of the Technical Regulations of the Customs Union TR CU 001/2011 "On the safety of railway rolling stock".
