RLT ribbon-type braking resistors are designed to operate as load resistors for traction motors in generator mode during electric braking of locomotives.

The RLT resistor consists of resistive elements, two supports and insulators, assembled with threaded rods into a single structure.

They are used in 2ES6, 2ES10, EP2K electric locomotives and ТEP70, ТEM18, ТEМ18DМ, ТEM2, ТEP70А, CHME3, 2ТE116 diesel locomotives.

Climatic design: UHL1 according to GOST 15150-69.

Compliant with Technical Regulation TR CU 001/2011 “On the safety of railway rolling stock”.
