The resistor banks are designed for electrodynamic braking of DC electric locomotives of the 2ES6 and 2ES10 series.

Structurally, the units are designed as metal enclosures housing ribbon-type braking resistors.

They are used in 2ES6 and 2ES10 locomotives.

Climatic design: UHL3 in accordance with GOST 15150-69.
