Blocks of Braking Resistors BTR-1400PUKhL2 and BTR-1750PUKhL2

Blocks of Braking Resistors BTR-1400PUKhL2 and BTR-1750PUKhL2

The BTR-1400PUKhL2 and BTR-1750PUKhL2 braking resistor blocks are designed to dissipate the electrical energy of traction motors in electric braking mode of the diesel locomotive.
The blocks can also be used for loading the diesel generator during adjustment and testing of the locomotive without applying a water rheostat load.
Structurally, the blocks are made in the form of a casing with band-type resistors inside. The housing design ensures the possibility of replacing any band resistor during maintenance.
Applied on TEP70BS locomotives.
Climatic version UHL2 according to GOST 15150-69.
