Electrodynamic Brake Block

The electrodynamic brake block dissipates electrical energy in the form of heat released by the braking resistors installed inside the housing of the device.
It is used on the TEM18DM shunting diesel locomotive.
The brake block is mounted on the roof of the locomotive.
Climatic version UHL1 according to GOST 15150-69.
